Internships Abroad for Academic Credit
On certain CIPA approved study abroad programs, eligible
students may have the opportunity to engage in an internship for academic
credit. The Education Abroad Committee has agreed that academic credit
can be granted for internships taken abroad if the internship is of high quality
and if it includes a strong academic component. Students are required to enroll in courses overseas in addition to the internship, and the internship
should receive no more than 4 hours of credit. Please see your CIPA Advisor for further details about qualifications and application process. Students interested in interning abroad must complete the following form (in
addition to the relevant program application forms): Statement
of Responsibility for Students Interning Abroad.
