CIPA Study Abroad Grant
The CIPA Study Abroad Grant encourages Emory College
undergraduates to participate in Emory-approved study abroad programs based on one of the following tracks:
• Study in non-traditional locations (Locations include study on programs in countires other than Western Europe, Czech Republic or Australia)
• Engage in challenging intensive language study and cultural immersion
abroad (Intensive language and culture programs require a minimum of 15 class hours/week and require all course work to be
taken in the target language)
• Engage in science studies abroad (For science majors only, requires students to take at least one class in your science major abroad)
The selection process will be competitively based upon a combination of academic
merit and financial need. Priority will be given to students who propose to study
abroad for a full academic year. Up to ten grants will be awarded each semester.
Deadlines

For the Fall semester / Year: March 1
Awards
The grant will provide funding for the lowest available airfare (exact amount to be
