Academic Credit Abroad

While studying an on Emory semester program, you will earn 16 credits for the academic term. Credits earned on Emory study abroad programs are granted equivalents to on-campus courses. The academic department, course number, course title, and grade will appear on an Emory transcript. Most Emory courses are 4 semester credits each. Visiting students must make arrangements to obtain approval from their home institution for transfer credit. Upon completion of the program, Emory will send one official transcript your home institution. You must contact the Registrar's Office at Emory to request additional transcripts.
